Our nonprofit charity has three (3) directors who abide by our mission, articles of incorporation and bylaws.

Angela Johnson, MPA


Angela is one of our directors who brings a wealth of experience within grant fundraising and donor relations. Ms. Johnson previously worked for the North Central Texas Council of Governments focused on federal grants as a grants and contracts coordinator. In addition, Ms. Johnson worked for the American Heart Association (AHA) within donor relations. Ms. Johnson has a bachelor of science in criminal justice (BSCJ) degree from Columbus State University, and master in public administration (MPA) degree from Georgia College and State University. Ms. Johnson received a certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. She is a professional member of the Grant Professionals Association.

Ricardo Soto, MBA

Chairman of the Board and President

Mr. Soto founded Global Human Rights Charity and the University of Latin America. He carries the vision and mission. Mr. Soto has previously worked for Obama for America (OFA) as an intern, as well as, Organizing for Action (OFA) as a summer organizer followed by community organizer working on healthcare reform. Mr. Soto has a bachelor of science in business administration (BSBA) degree from Capella University, and master of business administration (MBA) in finance degree from Aspen University. Mr. Soto received a certificate in Human Rights Education from the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights. He is a member of the Nonfiction Author's Association. Mr. Soto has garnered 74 awards throughout his life.

Gwendolyn Rolle, MBA


Gwen is one of our directors who brings quality management experience to our nonprofit. Ms. Rolle currently works for a confidential employer within contracts management. In addition, Ms. Rolle is the current president of the New Jersey Alumni Chapter at Central State University. Ms. Rolle has a bachelor of science in business administration (BSBA) degree from Central State University, and master of business administration (MBA) in human resource management from University of Phoenix. Ms. Rolle has a certificate in Cultural Competence and Sensitivity--Diversity and Inclusion. She is a member of the National Black MBA Association. Ms. Rolle is a strong advocate for health and higher education.


Chelsea Guffogg, BS


Chelsea brings plenty of enthusiasm and energy to the organization. Ms. Guffogg currently works for Innovation Learning as a site director giving her experience in operations/policies/procedures, while working with various stakeholders including officials/board members/staff. In addition, Ms. Guffogg has experience as a teacher creating lesson plans and activities for students, as well as, managing budgets as a course director. Ms. Guffogg has a bachelor of science in recreation management/outdoor experiential education from Appalachian State University. Ms. Guffogg has a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
